A Bed and Breakfast in The Black Isle

Photo - Waters Edge

Our aim is always to ensure that each and every day is very special for everyone. Attention to detail is very important to us, we are enthusiastic about what we do and giving our guests the best we can comes at the top of our list of priorities. Water's Edge is a truly beautiful house in the most enviable position, very close to the sea shore, from all our rooms there are breathtaking views over the sea. A garden path goes down to a pebble beach, lapped by the clear waters of the Moray Firth. The sitting room has a charm all of its own, the antique furnishings go hand in hand with flowers gathered from our garden, a special place to be where a tranquil peace and calm can be enjoyed. Dolphins and otters can be seen from the picture windows, it is always very exciting when they are spotted swimming in the sea at the bottom of the garden. Breakfast is a delicious delight each morning, we use as much organic and local produce as we can find and offer many choices for you to enjoy in the dining room.

Our three double rooms all with en suite bathrooms, each with a bath and power shower offer pure luxury....wonderfully comfy beds, the finest Egyptian cotton linen, soft sparkling white towels and cosy fluffy bathrobes. Each bedroom has a large terrace, you can open the French doors and let the sunshine in. The spectacular view over the sea and the hills towards Culloden is magnificent. We promise everyone a genuine warm welcome and Scottish hospitality at its very best... peace, relaxation and warmth. Water's Edge is here for you to come and enjoy. We would love to welcome you to stay for just as long as you wish, sharing all the wonderful things we enjoy about living here.... It is truly special and spectacular..

The Private House Stay's Guide

The Black Isle

The Black Isle is a peninsula just North of Inverness of fertile land bordered by the Beauly and Moray Firth to the south, and the Cromarty Firth to the north. The Village of Beauly is a lovely place to visit that prides itself on its floral displays (a past winner of the Britain in Bloom competition) and there are other attractive villages with tourist facilities such as Dingwall, Cromarty and Munlochy. The area has become more popular in the last two decades thanks to the erection of the Kessock Bridge, joining the Black Isle with Inverness making it a 20 minute car journey from the city.
