A Bed and Breakfast in Perthshire

Photo - Letter Farm

We are situated at the end of the Lunan Valley, three miles east of the historic cathedral town of Dunkeld in beautiful Perthshire and nestling between Butterstone Loch and Loch of the Lowes.

Enjoy our comfortable farmhouse with king-size beds in en-suite rooms, a log fire in the guest lounge and good home baking. Our family-run stock farm nestles next to the Loch of Lowes Wildlife Reserve, home to ospreys, otters and other wildlife. It exudes peace and tranquillity - come and see for yourselves, you'll be warmly welcomed! Children from the age of 10 welcomed.

The Private House Stay's Guide

The town of Perth lies at the southern end of a district that extends North along the A9, through Dunkeld and Pitlochry to Inverness-shire. For the purposes of this guide the area North of Pitlochry is defined as Highland Perthshire and the area East of Dunkeld and South of the Cairngorm national park is defined as East Perthshire. The A9 dual-carriageway road is the main artery for traffic to the North but is only an hour from Edinburgh and makes Perthshire one of the most desirable areas of Scotland in which to live. The Annual Pitlochry arts festival gets worldwide aclaim, while the area has a wealth of History, Heritage and visitor attractions as well the scenery, waterfalls, wildlife and crafts that can be found across the Highlands. Perthshire contains many of Scotland's best country House Hotels.
